FIGHTERMINS was the brainchild of Kim Khan Zaki, better known as Zig Zach. Zach is Singapore’s Muay Thai Champion and has appeared on the International hit TV Series from Mark Burnett Productions, The Contender Asia.
Zach being a Personal Trainer and a Professional Fighter, has always taken vitamins & supplements to help him perform at his very peak for training, competitions and everyday work. Zach believes that, "People often forget the importance of Vitamins and Supplements - they are as important as your everyday training in your sport or as important as every meal you take. Vitamins & supplements are what helps you to recover and what gives you that extra kick your everyday food simply cannot provide."
In the past, the existing range of over the counter supplements simply didn’t have the correct formulations to help with the recovery & recuperation that martial artists need to perform at their highest levels. Zach felt the need for a line of supplements that were condition specific to the kind of high intensity training that martial artists go through.
Whenever Zach or any of his fellow fighter associates, searched online to read up about various vitamins and supplement products, there would be thousands of results and thousands of forum comments to read, all from unknown sources. He felt that there was just too much confusion in all this and that it wasn’t user friendly or helpful for interested buyers to make their decision.
What the martial arts community needed was a one stop shop for vitamins and supplements developed specifically for the high intensity and high impact of martial arts training and competition. Also a website that has testimonials from professional fighters at the top of their game discussing what supplements they use and how they feel about the product, rather than bombarding the consumer with advice from an unknown source on a forum.
Zach used his contacts and pulled together a highly qualified team of experts in the field of Martial Arts, Nutrition and Management. With their combined ideas, vision and mission, FIGHTERMINS was born.

CEO & Founder of Vitaganic - Cedric Ling
Born in New Haven Connecticut, Cedric was educated in Hong Kong, England, China, America and Switzerland. He has worked in New York, Silicon Valley, Hong Kong and Beijing. Cedric is a veteran entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in the IT industry.
When Cedric was 7, his grandmother taught him two things: medicine and Bridge. Ever since then, he has been very passionate about health & medicine. In 2003, while in LA, he saw a Chinese doctor diagnosing a patient, and instead of writing a script for conventional medicine, saw that the prescription was for the pharmacist to send to the lab for custom-made capsules filled with personalized Chinese medicine. As the rise of Dell has solidified the idea of mass customization as being next frontier in business Cedric saw an opportunity he could not pass up: customizing vitamins for customers' individual needs.
In January 2005, he received funding from successful Silicon Valley entrepreneurs such as WebEx founder Zhu Min, Netscreen's founder Deng Feng and Redoctane / Guitar Hero founder Kai Huang to start Mitamins, known today as Vitaganic.
Executive Chairman of Vitaganic – Nick Leese
Mr Nick Leese was the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Global Active, a listed company on the Singapore main board SGX, which operated an extensive network of 150 retail outlets in Asia and was the sole franchisee for GNC in Singapore, China, Australia, Malaysia, Brunei, Guam and Saipan and certain US military bases in Japan, Korea and Guam. From negotiating the first GNC contract for Singapore in 1990, he had grown the company to become the largest international GNC distributor at the time. In 2005 he sold the company.
Previous to that, Mr Leese had over 15 years of experience in providing business development advice to various companies and investment advice to family-related trust funds in Asia. His main focus is in healthcare, and his broad experience across the region including the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam and China are key strengths. He has advised a UK-listed telecommunication company on its Asia expansion, notably in Indonesia, Thailand and China and involved in bringing a large US Oncology group to Asia. He has also been involved in biotech, Epigenetic with Oxford University. In addition, he built, grew and successfully sold a regional Pan-Asia sourcing network for a large UK retail concern.
Nick went to Eton College, then graduated with a Master of Arts from Oxford University (Christ Church College) in the UK.
Dr Luke D B McCabe

Luke is presently practicing chiropractic here in Singapore. Through his degree and advancements in education, Luke has gained an intricate knowledge and experience in human and sports biomechanics and kinematics. He combines these fundamentals with his knowledge of orthopaedics, rehabilitation, gaiting, anthropometry, neurology, medicine and human anatomy/physiology and advanced knowledge in nutrition and sports nutrition to provide his clients with state-of-the-art information and programs that will put you ahead of everyone else in terms of your goals and aspirations.
Luke also has immense experience in both nutrition and fitness programs and how to get the best out of each individual. Currently, Luke is with the Singapore National Rugby Team as their Rugby Strength and Conditioning coach, which involves intricate nutrition, exercise and goal planning. Having played previous professional rugby for Newport, Luke knows how committed you have to be to achieve your goals, and that’s why he leaves no rock unturned. Luke believes that with the right balance of training, knowledge and specialized nutrition, you can achieve anything! Additionally to all this, Luke is a director and co-founder or Salveo Lifestyle, a bespoke nutrition and exercise program specialist company based in Singapore.

Quality Manufacturing
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was designed and built to standards that exceed dietary supplement production guidelines and pharmaceutical grade operations.
It is situated in Sunnyvale, California and manufactures our 1600 different formulas.
Every step of our manufacturing process is carefully monitored and subject to a number of quality checks by both our Quality Control Department and by the manufacturing team who have each gone through cGMP and HACCP training.
We have made a substantial investment in the development of our laboratory to meet the ever-increasing demands of accurate analysis of our raw materials as well as finished consumer products.
To ensure total safety, incoming raw materials, product packaging materials and any supplements formulated or manufactured are tested for the presence of undesirable microbes.
For raw material safety, total plate count, yeast, mould, and certain pathogenic microorganism tests are performed on a regular basis. Analytical testing of raw materials is done by HPLC and other analytical methods to ensure they meet our stringent specifications. Before storage of these materials, our Quality Control Department retains a representative sample from each batch for future analysis.
To ensure all products manufactured at Fightermins remain free of biological contaminants, various sites throughout our manufacturing plant are monitored regularly for the presence of unwanted microbes. We monitor the air quality, temperature and humidity on a regular basis.
As many ingredients and products are moisture sensitive, our processing rooms have temperature and humidity controls to reduce variation in the product environment, thus reducing variations in our products.
